| Description: Explorer North East is a
day ticket valid on many bus services throughout the North East of England
from Berwick upon Tweed on the Scottish border down to Scarborough and
Ripon in Yorkshire.
Valid On: Arriva North East & Northumbria, Go North East (inc Go-Coatline, Gateshead, Northern & Wear Buses), Stagecoach North East, Weardale Motor Services, Travelsure, Border Villager, IDM Travel, Northumbrias Coaches and Tynedale Group Travel. Also Valid On: Tyne & Wear Metro, The Shields Ferry, Stagecoach Cumbria 685 (Newcastle - Carlisle), Hadrian's Wall Service AD122 (at half price) and Arriva Northern Trains between Sunderland and Newcastle only. Not Valid on: Night, special or pre-bookable services, Weardale X21, Stagecoach Express X90 between Darlington - York Restrictions: Cannot be used before 9am Mon-Fri except during June, July & August. Valid all day at weekends, bank holidays, everyday during June, July & August and between 24th Dec-2nd Jan inclusive. Prices: £5.75 Adult, £4.75 Senior and under 14's, £11.50 Family (2 Adults, 3 Children)...purchase on the first bus you board or by in advance from bus company offices or agents. |
